Positions combine job title, grade, salary range, and department.
Define a position
Enter the title, link its department, and set grade, description, and status.
- The system creates a sequential position number.
Salary range
Optional minimum and maximum values help standardize compensation for the position.
- The maximum cannot be lower than the minimum.
Employee relationship
The position is used in employee records and job openings.
- A position occupied by active employees cannot be deleted.
