Reading Financial Reports

Reports use posted entries only and help assess profitability, liquidity, balances, and control.

Core statements

Use the income statement for a period, the balance sheet at a date, and cash flow for sources and uses of cash.

  • The balance sheet includes current-period earnings so it remains balanced during the year.
  • Income statement and balance sheet can be filtered by cost center.

Detailed analysis

Review trial balance, account ledger, aging, partner statement, cost centers, and budget variance.

  • Trial balance separates opening, period movement, and closing balances.
  • The account ledger shows a running balance for each movement.

Vouchers and taxes

Analyze receipts, payments, and voucher cash flow, and review collected, paid, and detailed tax activity.

  • Cash-flow and tax reports use approved documents.
  • All reports are read-only and change no data.

Reading rules

Choose the required period or date and ensure the end date is not before the start.

  • Draft and cancelled activity is excluded.
  • Names are available in Arabic and English, with three-decimal monetary precision where needed.
