Monitoring Receivables, Payables, and Netting
Receivable and payable balances come directly from posted entries, keeping them aligned with the general ledger.
Customer and supplier balances
Review amounts due from customers and owed to suppliers by partner.
- Balances use posted partner-linked entries.
- There is no separate balance set to reconcile with the ledger.
Partner statement and aging
Choose a period to show opening balance, ordered movements, running balance, and closing balance.
- The aging report groups current and overdue amounts into time buckets.
- A statement requires a partner and date range.
Netting
When a partner is both customer and supplier, reduce both balances by no more than the smaller one.
- Netting requires both receivable and payable balances.
- Netting creates a posted entry that reduces both sides.
