The bank account register links operational activity directly to its ledger account.
Register the account
Enter bank and account details, select the currency, and link a distinct detail account.
- A suitable sub-account can be created automatically when no link is supplied.
- Two bank accounts should not share one ledger account.
Branches and currency
Assign the account to multiple branches with a primary branch, or make it available to all.
- The account currency governs related checks and reconciliation.
- Updating branches replaces previous assignments.
Use and control
Use active accounts for checks, transfers, and reconciliations while preserving a clear trail.
- An account linked to financial activity cannot be deleted.
- Every movement appears in the linked ledger account.
