Quotations guide
A quotation presents items and terms to a customer and tracks the decision before committing to an order.
Create the quotation
Choose the customer and validity date, then add one or more lines with quantity, price, discount, and tax; totals recalculate when lines change.
- The quotation number is generated automatically.
- At least one line is required before sending.
States and conversion
The quotation starts as a draft, is sent for acceptance or rejection, may expire, and can become an order after acceptance.
- Draft and sent quotations can be edited or cancelled.
- Only sent quotations can be accepted or rejected.
Duplication and printing
Duplicate the quotation as a fresh draft with new dates, then print it in Arabic or English with customer, line, and total details.
- Only a draft quotation can be deleted.
- Conversion preserves the link between quotation and order.
