Delivery notes guide
A delivery note documents dispatch, shipment, and receipt for a confirmed order, including delivery in multiple batches.
Create the delivery
Create the note from a confirmed order and select warehouse and quantities. Customer, branch, product, and unit come from the order.
- Quantity cannot exceed the remaining deliverable amount.
- Multiple notes can be created for one order.
Confirmation and shipment
On confirmation, the system updates order quantities and may deduct stock. Then record carrier, shipping method, tracking, expected date, and receipt.
- Deduction on confirmation depends on the stock deduction setting.
- Final delivery records the receipt time.
Editing and cancellation
Only a draft note can be edited or deleted. Cancelling a confirmed or shipped note reverses quantities and restores stock if it was deducted at delivery.
- Order delivery status is recalculated after cancellation.
- Batch and serial details can be recorded for lines.
