Settings organize operational choices through defaults and scoped overrides.
Definitions
Each setting shows its value type, scope, default, and allowed choices.
- Definitions can be filtered by module.
Fallback order
Resolution starts with the user's branch override, then branch, company, and finally the default.
- The first available value in this order wins.
Validation and updates
The system validates type and allowed choices before saving, then refreshes cached values.
- Settings are changed or reset to defaults rather than individually deleted.
