Sequences provide clear, consecutive identifiers for documents across modules.
Number format
Choose a prefix, suffix, year or month inclusion, and number padding.
- Fourteen default sequences are available after installation.
Counter reset
Choose continuous numbering or yearly or monthly reset according to document policy.
- A new counter starts automatically for a new period.
Branches and reliability
Each branch may keep an independent counter, and the system safeguards concurrent issuance.
- An inactive sequence issues no new numbers.
