Why accounting linked to inventory and sales?
Most accounting errors come from re-entering the same number in several places: the invoice in one program, stock in a spreadsheet and the entry in a third book. In Moon ERP the invoice is entered once; stock is deducted, the entry is posted and the customer balance updates at the same moment.
As a result the trial balance, income statement and balance sheet reflect the latest transaction rather than the last time someone sat down to key in data.
